About Qurrat A’yun Studios

Qurrat A’yun Studios (QAS) is a renowned international photography studio based in the US and Canada, operating since 2011, headed by lead photographer Qurrat Ansari. QAS is a highly sought-after brand name among South Asian and Arab Muslims specializing in fun, airy and high-end luxury weddings and life-events photography. 

The Role 

We are looking for a part time (5-7 hours per week) Creative Generalist to take on a number of different responsibilities depending on the time of the year. You will initially fill a creative blogging backlog (AI tools are all fair game and encouraged!). Then, the role will shift to supporting our IG and TikTok digital marketing efforts. Other duties may be assigned and you are always welcome to pitch new ways to help us grow! 

Note this position has nothing to do with photography or learning photography. Do not expect to receive mentorship and training in this regard. 

Requirements 

• Must be authorized to work in the United States (SSN required). This position is NOT open to Canadians and International applicants. 
• Excellent writing skills. 
• Deep familiarity with South Asian (Pakistani, Indian) Muslim wedding traditions and rituals. 
• Deep familiarity with IG and TikTok.  

Nice to Have

• Experience with blogging
• Experience creating high quality content for social media platforms like IG and TikTok.

Your phone is a natural extension of you and you have been utilizing the latest social media platforms before they were even cool. You are organized, communicate exceptionally and always honor your word. You’re a go-getter with a desire to learn new skills and see possibilities where others see roadblocks. 

Compensation & Commitment

• 100% remote, anywhere in the United States. 
• 5-7 hours per week.
• $400-$500 / month.
