For her valima day, Warda adorned a beautiful mint green peplum top with a sharara (skirt) that her mother-in-law got custom made from Pakistan. She did her own makeup (why is not a bridal makeup artist!?) and her hair was done by Bellaflair. Usman looked dapper in a black tux. Both of their outfits complemented each other so well!
Our plan initially was to do their portraits at Glendon to change up the look of their photographs, but when the day came, it was way too hot to be anywhere outdoors for too long. Changing plans last minute, we decided to do a quick portrait session outdoors close to the hall instead of spending a full 2 hours for it. I mananged to finish their entire portrait session in under half an hour! As wedding photographers, we are thrown into unexpected circumstances last minute, and we always have to make the most of it! While I wish I had more time with these cuties, I am quite happy with the way their portraits turned out 🙂
The location we chose was the Kortright Centre of Conservation in Vaughan. The conservation area is characteristic of it’s beautiful and tall trees which makes for such gorgeous photos! It also happens to be super close to Chateau le Jardin where their intimate reception was held for the evening.
So without further ado, here are some of my favourites from their last event that I had the pleasure of documenting. It was so hard to choose a few out of the 1000s (literally) of photographs I took that day!
Kind words from Warda:
Out of all my decisions during wedding planning/prep I’m most happy with choosing Qurrat to take care of our photography needs!!
Seriously BEYOND impressed with Qurrat’s professionalism, attention to detail and going above and beyond to ensure her clients are satisfied. I came to her with no referral or connection and after our first consultation I was completely at ease knowing I’d be in great hands for all things photography related.
She’s super friendly, accommodating and such a dream to work with. Getting to work with her throughout my events was a breeze, but that’s because when you’re as experienced and professional as Qurrat, she makes everything seem easy.
All of the pictures are outstanding, her level of talent with photography will shine through in every picture. Our friends and family couldn’t stop raving about her, I call her the “aunty charmer” lol because not only is she great with couples but she knows how to work with South Asian families.
If you want complete peace of mind for your photography needs, seriously look no further, it will absolutely be the best decision you make.
