The engagement session of my dreams – these photos were taken at the beautiful Niagara Botanical Gardens. I photographed this engagement session on a wonderful, sunny June evening. The Niagara Botanical Gardens offer such a beautiful space for photoshoots; you have so many wonderfully landscaped hedges and rose gardens. The quintessential thing about this location is the row of lush green trees that extend as far as the eye can see. You can see those from even outside when you are about to drive through the entrance gates.

The best part about these botanical gardens is that you don’t need to obtain a permit to shoot there (at least as of January 2021). You can make a small donation to help them maintain the space, and pay for parking, which also costs around $5 for a couple of hours.

We circled through the entire garden for their session, utilized the buttery golden glow and ended it with a stunning sunset. It is a fair bit of drive away from the GTA, but totally worth it in my opinion!
