After Saba & Faran’s vibrant shendi they had an equally gorgeous valima! We started out with couples portraits in the beautiful Adamson Estates in Mississauga. Since it was a spring wedding, we caught the blooming magnolia and cherry blossoms which were the perfect backdrop for Saba’s pretty pastel outfit.

While you need a photography permit at Adamson Estates, it’s absolutely worth it for the stunning lakeside views, abundant greenery, and architectural details, which make for a variety of photos, as you can see! The reception was at the Mississauga Convention Centre, which was beautifully decorated by the groom’s talented sister, Hera Events Decor. One detail that makes a huge difference is extending the draping across the entire hall, rather than just behind the stage. It takes the decor to the next level and, along with floor wraps, is one of the most impactful things you can do to really transform your venue. We were also able to get some family portraits in before the event, which is always nice.

After their entrance, they had an adorable first dance and ring exchange, complete with sparklers. After the sweet speeches, they had a kind of cocktail hour with a photobooth, waffle station by Salt & Sugar, and a custom coffee bar by Balmendra Espresso. I loved all the personal details like their names on the lattes! Having activities for the guests at a reception is always nice, since there aren’t as many rasms/traditions that happen during it compared to a shaadi or mehendi, so it’s a good way to keep guests entertained.

We wrapped up the night with an open dance floor, which is always a lot of fun. We loved shooting Saba and Faran’s wedding weekend and meeting their talented family! Be sure to check out the vendors if you’re planning your wedding.
