Every year during spring, these lush crabapple trees come into full bloom near where I live. And no matter how many times I’ve seen them, or photographed them, it has never been enough.

Last spring, because I had this HUGE urge to photograph a couple with these, so I reached out to my followers on Instagram; Naureen reached out to me and so we scheduled a mini 10-minute session of her and Ridwan with the blooms! 

I wasn’t able to shoot her wedding because of another booking, but I am so glad I shot her engagement photos! We got a huge variety for the shots within a small location in a small time frame too! 

Would you be surprised if I told you these grow out in a parking lot? Of a factory!!

This is what I love about photography – being able to see the beauty even in the most mundane settings around you and photographing things at such an angle that it looks like it’s out of this world..even if it’s set in an ordinary everyday place 🙂
