We’re so excited to share Sanaa and Ahmed’s wedding events from last summer! We had the pleasure of photographing their e-shoot, nikkah, mehendi, and reception which were all so much fun and we can’t wait to share! 

Starting with their e-shoot, which we did about a month before the wedding events. Engagement shoots are the perfect opportunity for you to get to know your wedding photographer and their style, how they pose you, and what you like or may not like. It also gives you a chance to figure out what angles and poses you like best, what you’re most comfortable with, etc – it’s the perfect trial, and you get beautiful photos you can use as a part of your wedding event! We would recommend you arrange your e-shoot 1-1.5 months before your wedding, and they are one of the only events you’re able to be a bit flexible with the date so you get the best weather and lighting. We typically do them on weekday evenings during golden hour, and for every one of Sana and Ahmed’s events, we were lucky enough to get beautiful sunny days.

We did Sana and Ahmed’s photo shoot at The Parkwood Estate in Oshawa. This is a stunning photoshoot location in the east end, and many TV shows and movies have been shot there. It does require a photography permit and you need to book in advance to secure locations like the fountains etc to shoot at, but it is well worth it as you can see.

For their e-shoot, Sana and Ahmed went for a chic, modern vibe which you can see in the photos. Overall we had so much fun doing this shoot which lasted about two hours, and it set the tone for the rest of the events! Make sure to check out their nikkah, mehendi, and reception photos as well!
