After our last few California wedding posts, we’re so excited to share a special valima we covered in Buffalo, New York, last year! We’re blessed to travel all over for our brides, and we love doing Pakistani wedding photography in Buffalo — including Emaan and Basel’s gorgeous valima.

The day started with portraits at the AKG Art Museum in Buffalo — one of our absolute favorite spots to shoot. The clean modernist architecture, the open plazas, the beautiful light — this place photographs beautifully every single time. Emaan and Basel were no exception.

Emaan’s glam was beautifully done by the incredibly talented Beauty by Tasnim MUA @beautybytasnim, and it perfectly complemented her stunning emerald-green outfit by Fahad Hussayn. The intricate embroidery and long, dramatic train photographed so beautifully, and Emaan carried it so regally.

From there, we took a short walk to the Buffalo History Museum. The neoclassical columns, the stone archways, the sense of history in every corner — together, these two museums offer an incredible range of backdrops without getting back in the car. Both sit close together at Delaware Park, so couples can experience both in a single session. That is something we love about this pairing.
If you are a Buffalo couple who hasn’t considered these locations, let Emaan and Basel’s photos convince you!

Emaan and Basel kept the valima simple — and it was perfect for that reason. Some celebrations shine brightest when stripped back to what matters: warmth, family, food, and the people you love most. That is exactly what they created, and we felt it in every photograph.
When a reception feels this relaxed and intentional, something shifts in the images. People are more themselves. Laughter comes more easily. The couple gets to be truly present with each other — and that presence shows. You cannot manufacture or direct it. It just has to be lived, and it absolutely was.

These two locations are returned to again and again for a reason. The AKG Art Museum and the Buffalo History Museum are genuinely two of the finest portrait locations in all of Western New York — and when used together, the variety achievable in a single session is remarkable. If you are a Buffalo bride who has been dreaming of portraits that feel cinematic, architectural, and timeless, these are the locations that should be at the top of your list. Reach out — we would love to plan something beautiful there with you!
