Eman & Umer’s baraat and nikkah photor was a day our team had been looking forward to after shooting their mehendi over the summer, and this time we brought something new to the table: video. This celebration marks one of the first weddings we’ve captured with full wedding videography services alongside our photography, and we couldn’t have asked for a better day to kick things off.

This is the highlight film from Eman and Umer’s mehendi, baraat, and nikkah, and honestly, we’re a little obsessed with how it turned out. Stills give you the moment, but film gives you the whole feeling from the weekend. Watching the two media back-to-back is the closest thing to reliving the day itself.

GETTING READY PHOTOS

We’ve noticed more couples skipping getting-ready coverage lately, but this one is exactly why we still push for it. It’s the calm before everything else kicks off, and the perfect opportunity to capture all of the stunning details from your bridal look you’ve worked so hard to put together. 

We captured Eman’s getting-ready photos at @beautyconceptofficial, where the talented Jenny Wu did her hair and makeup. Eman wore a stunning classic red farshi lehenga by @shakeelsbyzeeshandanish, complete with a double dupatta and gorgeous pink details.  One of our favourite moments from the morning was being able to capture portraits of Eman and her sister helping her get ready.

THE MOST SPECIAL FIRST LOOKS

We got to shoot not one, but three special first looks on this day! The first one was with one of the bride’s best friends, which was so special and sweet. The rest we got to do at the venue, which we share later in the post!

PORTRAITS AT MILTON TOWN HALL

We chose Milton Town Hall for Eman and Umer’s portraits because of the gorgeous greenery and views. The green vines climbing the warm stone soften the whole property into something timeless, and the ivy, texture, and clean lines keep every frame elegant without ever feeling cluttered — on camera or on film. Against that backdrop, nothing complements the setting quite like a traditional red Pakistani bridal – ruby against emerald, heirloom against nature.

SWEET MOMENTS BEFORE THE NIKKAH

Before the nikkah, we were able to capture some sweet moments between the bride and her parents, and a sweet first look with her bridesmaids, which felt so special.

A GRAND NIKKAH

Portraits flowed into a heartfelt nikkah at @chateaulejardin, officiated by Imam Hossam Helal. Vows were spoken, families gathered close, and the room was set with quiet luxury by @tanzysdecor — considered textures, elegant florals, and sightlines that were made for beautiful frames and film alike.
