Eman & Umer’s mehendi was one of the events our team looked forward to all summer, and when the day arrived, it delivered on every level! From soft garden portraits to a stunning and unique jewel-toned venue, this celebration captured everything we love about Mississauga mehndi photography.

PORTRAITS AT THE RIVERWOOD CONSERVANCY

We began the day with portraits at The Riverwood Conservancy, which is our most-frequented photoshoot location for Mississauga events for a reason. If you’ve followed along with our blog, you’ll know we return to this spot again and again for its calm paths, soft greenery, and lush florals. We’ve previously covered all these details in more depth in our recent post dedicated to Riverwood Conservancy.

We usually see first looks done for the nikkah or baraat, but this one for the mehendi was just as sweet!

A STUNNING EVENT AT GRAND VICTORIAN CONVENTION CENTRE

For their mehendi, Grand Victorian Convention Centre was completely transformed with the stunning moody and jewel-toned decor by Tanzy’s Decor. The vibes were immaculate, and the backdrop was the perfect complement to the couples outfits so we had to get in some portraits at the venue as well!

A FUN FILLED MEHENDI NIGHT

The entrances were just as fun to capture as the rest of the day, full of energy and movement we love in mehendi photography. 

 Lux Wraps CA created a gorgeous custom floor wrap that completed the decor’s look. One detail that stood out was the extension of the floor wrap all the way to the entrance door, which made a huge impact, as you can see in the entrance photos. Typically, floor wraps are done in front of the stage area, so this is definitely something to consider if you’re planning on having one at your wedding.

Overall, we loved capturing Eman and Umer’s gorgeous event. A beautiful couple, and even lovelier families, this mehendi was a joy to document from start to finish. It made us even more excited to photograph their nikkah, baraat, and valima, all of which we’ll share on the blog soon!
