We’re sharing another outdoor nikkah today, this time in the GTA with some Milton wedding photography. Last August we had the pleasure of photographing Neha and Talha’s stunning outdoor nikkah at Bella Gardens with our team of four.

THE SWEETEST FIRST LOOK AT MILTON TOWN HALL

We kicked things off with portraits at Milton Town Hall. The weather was pretty rainy and overcast in the morning which you can see in the photos, but thankfully cleared up later in the day. Neha and Talha started out with a sweet first look in the gardens of Milton Town Hall, which made for the sweetest intimate portraits.

We loved capturing the details of both the bride and groom’s outfits, which perfectly complemented each other.

THE BEST LOCATION FOR MILTON WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

Milton Town Hall is one of our favourite locations to shoot at in Milton because of its stunning details and architecture, which makes for a lot of variety in the portraits. The building has so many different elements to work with — grand stone exteriors, arched doorways, manicured grounds, and covered walkways that give us beautiful framing options no matter where we turn.

Neha and Talha put so much thought into the details of their wedding, like a custom newspaper and these paper parasols. The parasols were a really nice touch for the photos as well!

We also pulled out our film cameras for part of the day. There’s something about film that adds a softness and warmth you just can’t recreate digitally, and it felt like the right choice for a couple who clearly valued timeless, intentional details throughout their wedding.

FIRST LOOKS WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY

One of our favorite parts of the day was getting to photograph not one but three first looks. Neha shared a first look with her friends and family before the ceremony, and Talha did the same with his friends. It’s not something we see often, and it made for some genuinely fun, candid moments that felt true to who they are as a couple.

THE MOST THOUGHTFUL DETAILS

Continuing with the small details, every guest had a custom paper fan and parasol waiting for them. Details like this make everything more special and add such a sweet, personal touch to the outdoor ceremony. The decor, done by Unique Decor GTA, tied everything together beautifully and made the most of the garden setting at Bella Gardens.

A PICTURE PERFECT OUTDOOR NIKKAH

Thankfully, by the time we made it to Bella Gardens, the skies had other plans. The clouds broke, the sun came out, and the outdoor nikkah ceremony ended up being even more beautiful than we had hoped. Neha’s makeup, done by MakeupHOUZ, looked stunning against the natural light, and her bridal look for the nikkah was simple and elegant — a soft white and pink dress that suited the outdoor garden setting perfectly.

GOLDEN HOUR PORTRAITS

Before sunset, we snuck the couple away for a few golden hour portraits, and the light did not disappoint. After a morning that started under grey skies, finishing the day bathed in warm, golden light felt like the perfect ending to their story.

A FUN RECEPTION AT BELLA GARDENS

As the outdoor nikkah wrapped up, everyone made their way into the tent at Bella Gardens for the reception. The space felt warm and celebratory, and it was the perfect contrast to the open-air ceremony that came before it. The energy inside the tent was something else entirely. There was so much joy and love in the air, and the night finished with some games and lots of dancing.

There is something really special about a reception where you can feel how much people love the couple — and this one had that in abundance. Family, friends, and everyone in between came together to celebrate Neha and Talha, and the joy in the room was completely genuine.

This sweet couple also celebrated their valima recently, and we cannot wait to share those images soon. We actually shot their reception last month too, and we’re excited to put together that post in the coming weeks. One of our favorite things about following a couple through their wedding events is watching their bridal looks evolve — Neha’s nikkah look was soft and understated, while her valima style was a complete shift into a rich burgundy lehenga.
